What is a "Power Member?" When you join both the local Hawkeye ASTD chapter and the national ASTD association, you choose to be change makers in your own backyard and knowledge leaders in the learning and development profession. Joint membership offers learning professionals a unique opportunity to connect with local, national, and international professionals. Joint members can learn about trends in the field, and gain access to research, principles, practices, and templates you can apply directly to impacting organizational results, your community, and advancing your career.

NOTE: This application is only valid when you also apply for Hawkeye ASTD chapter membership or are already a chapter member. Processing your national ASTD membership may take 48+ hours. Chapter Membership
Chapter memberships are effective for one year, based on the effective date when you join. Membership fees are used to pay for maintenance of the Chapter website, special events, and other administrative expenses.

* Student membership - Eligible members must be regular full-time students, enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours (four courses) per academic year. Eligibility will be re-evaluated each year. Student membership discounts are available for a maximum of 3 years per person.
** Corporate memberships - For a single company with 5 employees interested in becoming a member of the Hawkeye Chapter of ASTD, a Corporate Membership is available. If more than 5 employees from a single company wish to join, the first 5 will be on a corporate membership, and the additional employees will be charged individual memberships. The 5 memberships cannot be rotated throughout the year with other employees. Only the Administrator for your corporate membership needs to complete the application.

Renewal information
Renewal reminders will be sent 3 weeks prior to your membership expiring. Renewal fees are the same as the applicable membership fees listed above.
Guests
Guests are welcome to attend our regular program meetings for only $10. For any guest who pays to attend five regular monthly programs within a calendar year, we will grant membership status for the remainder of that calendar year.
